Welcome Back Baseball, we've missed you.

And not yankees fans. Nobody cares about the yankees.

Now im not going to write intro cause its just pointless, lets just get to the point. We are talking AL West baseball. AL East is boring, Nothing to talk about in the AL Central now that Mauer signed. Im sorry what is the NL? I'd be lying if i didn't say i was concerned about my Angels this year. Im less worried this week than i was last week cause Cliff Lee is going to out of action for a while it seems and that just may be enoguh to get us through to the playoff. This division is going to extremely close and it really scares me. No question Seattle is a good team this year, plus you put those pitchers in a pitchers park and you can forget about winning. Texas is another scary team, but like it has been in years past, its mostly hitting, which isn't a surprise because homer fly out of that ballpark, like they do in yankee stadium. I could go into why, but just know heat provides less air resistance than cold air.

Now i know the Angels haven't been doing well this spring training. Im not worried, well except for Kasmir. I have no idea what management was thinking when they made that deal. We still have Weaver, which is really what we need. Weaver is no doubt the number 1 on our staff. He has produced atleast 12 wins every year he has been up in the majors. He will get the ball on monday. Now the rotation depends on Santana here. If Santana can pull out 15 wins, then the Angels will win the division. Once again i feel our bullpen has recovered to 2008 talent. Fuentes isn't the greatest but picking up Rodney was great. Sheilds is back, and i have confidence in our bullpen. I forget to mention one other person, of whom im a huge fan. Saunder is going to be #3 in our rotation is which is a testament to how good our top 3 will be. Couple that with the bullpen and we are talking business here.

Now lets throw the last peice of the puzzle in here. The O will be great this year. Chone Figgins left, GREAT! Now wood gets to play. We may see more homers this year than we have in the past 3 years. Abreu, Rivera, Wood, and Morales. Throw in the averagew hitter of Kendrick and Izturis and we have a great offense. Now the reason to worry is the team up in SEA has almost all of these qualities also. Minus of the O, but when you play in a pitchers park and have good pitchers, it should all equal out. Again i can't say how important this is; the longer Lee is out, the better a chance the have to win the division. If Lee is gone for more than a month this season, Mariners go home crying in oct. As strong as our Divsion wil be, we won't get a wildcard, cause once again the Dollars signs from the East have bought their talent and play cookie cutters at the bottom of their divsion, so 2 teams can be expected to have 92 plus wins.

Personally im hoping it is Tampa Bay and the Yankees cause this season things are going back to normal for the Angels and there will be no repeat of last years playoffs. The Yankees Season this year WILL end with them losting in the 1st round to us. I promise.
